Malaysian Hijabers Community (MHC)
WHAT IS MHC?
Malaysian Hijabers Community was founded in August, in the holy month of Ramadhan. Around 20 women who first met on a social network, 'Facebook', gathered from different backgrounds and professions are willing to share their visions to form a community that insyaAllah will accommodate events related to hijab and muslimah. Along the way, some events and activities will be held in order to build up not only outer beauty, but inner beauty as well, thus learning the beauty of Islam. Here, diversity of women can meet new friends and get closer relationships with other hijabers.
HOW I STARTED THE IDEA
The idea came one day when I sat and imagined that one group of hijabers with their very own style (versatile) gathered and walk together doing some activities, while sharing about how beautiful and easy Islam actually is. Then I immediately wanted to make my imagination come to reality so I shared my idea to some of my friends on Facebook who are also Hijabers like me and surprisingly I instantly received positive feedbacks. Alhamdulillah.
